It took me two tries to get my buttercup mani finished. My first attempt was completely different than this one. I’m not showing it because it only took two nails before realized it sucked… and I didn’t even photograph it! LOL!
I am much happier with the second attempt.

I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz. This polish has been very thick and streaky since the day I bought it. I had to do 3 coats to get it to even out! I also used Sinful Colors Exotic Green for the stems. I painted them on while Lemon Fizz was still wet.
My flowers are little yellow fimo slices that I sliced at different widths to get that dimensional “real life” flower look. Not sure it worked but I think it did add some interest to the look as a whole so I’m happy with it.
