Valentine Nimbus Nails

I found this blog post about Nimbus Nails by Brit Nails which then led me to the tutorial by The Nailasaurus. I loved the watery halo look that reminded me of the watercolor technique so I decided to try it out in pinks and reds for a Valentine inspired look.

I started by painting two coats of Orly White Tips. While that was drying I picked my colors. I decided on Pure Ice Tickle Me Pink (this one was so light I night as well have not even used it…) KleanColor Barbie Pink & Red, and Orly Purple Crush. (purple Crush is not purple at all in my opinion and I keep it in my pink drawer!)

I added the stripes using KleanColor Red and Kiss Nail Art Paint in Silver Glitter. The pink hearts are from a set I found at my local Dollar Tree.
